What documents do I need to bring my dog into the Bahamas?
You're allowed to fly with your pets in the cabin. A Bahamas pet permit and proof of vaccinations are required. We can assist with the permit process for a small fee.
I'm not a U.S. citizen. What documents do I need to travel to the Bahamas?
Non-U.S. citizens may need a U.S. Visa or ESTA along with a passport valid for at least six months beyond their intended travel dates. We’re an approved Visa Waiver Authority carrier and can assist with documentation.
Is there any long-term parking available?
Yes. Free long-term parking is available. We can also assist with rental car drop-offs.
Are there any limitations on luggage size?
Yes, luggage size and weight are limited due to aircraft type. Please confirm in advance, especially for large groups or heavy gear.
Can I bring alcoholic beverages to the Bahamas?
Yes. You may bring up to 2 bottles of wine and 1 quart of spirits duty-free. Additional bottles may incur customs duty.
Can I bring fruit, vegetables, or meat with me?
Fresh produce, meat, and dairy are not permitted. You may bring canned or frozen versions.
Are there any additional fees when traveling to the Bahamas?
Our pricing includes landing and customs fees. Bahamas Customs charges a $300 processing fee and a $32 departure tax per person. Overtime fees may apply outside of standard hours.
How many passengers can I bring with me?
We operate aircraft configured for 7 or 9 passengers. Children under 2 on laps do not count. Weight limits may reduce capacity—please confirm before your flight.
What happens if the weather is bad on my travel day?
If weather delays your flight, we’ll reschedule at no extra charge. Safety is always our top priority.
Are there restrictions on hazardous materials for flights?
Yes. Paints, aerosols, compressed gases, and similar items are restricted. Small medical quantities may be allowed. Contact us before bringing any hazmat items.
What form of currency is used in The Bahamas?
The Bahamian dollar is pegged to the U.S. dollar at 1:1. Both are accepted interchangeably. ATMs are available on most major islands.
What should I pack for my trip to The Bahamas?
Pack light summer wear year-round, and bring a sweater for cooler winter evenings. Cover swimwear in public areas. Some restaurants require jackets for men.

The Bahamian dollar operates at parity with the U.S. dollar: $1 USD = $1 BSD.
What are the requirements to get married in The Bahamas?
Couples must be in-country for at least 24 hours before applying. Bring birth certificates and affidavits. Divorce or death certificates may be required. Contact the Registrar General or your hotel for assistance.

What are the travel requirements for a minor traveling with only one parent?
Minors traveling internationally with only one parent should carry a notarized letter of consent from the non-traveling parent. This applies when flying between the U.S. and the Bahamas.
What do Bahamian citizens need to travel to the United States?
Bahamian citizens must have a valid passport and a U.S. visa. The passport must be valid for at least six months beyond their intended stay in the U.S.
